1. Who can enter the CRW Regional Business Awards?
Any business, organisation or individual located in Corowa, Rutherglen or Wahgunyah — or who primarily serves the CRW region — is eligible to enter.
2. Do I need to be a Chamber member to nominate?
No. Entries are open to all businesses and community organisations in the region, regardless of Chamber membership. Though we would welcome you to join us as a member to help us deliver on our commitments.
3. Is there a cost to submit a nomination?
No. Nominations are free across all categories.
4. Can I nominate myself or my own business?
Yes. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.
5. Can I nominate someone else?
Absolutely. You may nominate another business, employee, volunteer or organisation that you believe deserves recognition.
6. How many categories can I enter?
You may enter multiple categories, provided you meet the eligibility criteria for each one.
7. What information is required for a nomination?
Most categories require:
- Basic business or nominee details
- A short written explanation addressing the category criteria
- Examples of achievements, innovation or community impact
- Optional supporting documents (photos, testimonials, media, etc.)
8. How are nominations judged?
An independent judging panel reviews all submissions against a clear set of criteria. Judges assess impact, innovation, leadership, community contribution and overall excellence.
9. When are finalists announced?
Finalists will be notified directly and announced publicly in the weeks leading up to the Awards Night.
10. When is the Awards Night and how do I attend?
The Awards Night is planned to be held in May/June at an appropriate venue in our region. Tickets are available for purchase closer to the event.
11. What do winners receive?
Winners receive:
- A trophy and certificate
- Recognition across Chamber media channels
- Regional exposure through local media partners
- Eligibility for further NSW or regional award pathways (where applicable)
12. Can supporting photos, videos or documents be uploaded?
Yes. Supporting material is encouraged and can strengthen your nomination.
